FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Methodist University men's tennis opened its spring season with a home non-conference doubleheader, in the morning it was against William Peace University followed by an afternoon match with Lees-McRae College. The Monarchs settled for a split as they defeated the Pacer 6-3 before falling 7-2 to the Bobcats.
